Hey Josh, I'm directing and editing a short film as part of my media studies GCSE, do you have any advice?
Planning is everything. Things will go wrong, but try your hardest to plan for everything. Leave as much time for editing as possible. Don't leave it to the last second. Those are some simple tips, but they go a long way.
Watching people like Hutch, and being told that I was a better CoD player then most of the current popular YouTubers. I started making videos, and really enjoyed it!
We have the same first and middle name... That is reeeeally strange
If you become a big time filmmaker will you stop with YouTube? And if you actually become big with film do you hope to be a director or what in the film industry?
The short answer is yes. I'll always prioritise my potential career as a filmmaker over YouTube. However, they can go hand in hand for now. Don't tell anyone about this channel... shhh... http://www.youtube.com/user/JoshAndJoshwaa I like Directing, Cinematography and Editing :)
If you become a full time filmmaker will that affect your YouTube channel? Like will you still make videos but not that much?
I think most people notice that Uni has already affected my YouTube channel. I'm spending a lot more time focusing on studying and filmmaking them I am making YouTube videos. One of my Uni friends and I have started a channel together, and we're hoping to start uploading short films / sketches to it. Fingers crossed! http://www.youtube.com/user/JoshAndJoshwaa
how old are you and what do you do in your spare time?
