Business is good! I wouldn't say ALOTTTTTT LA, I mean even with cramping my schedules there's a maximum I can earn only cos mine are fixed rates. Haha but yes it's doing good :)

Hi pony! How much does it cost to open a boutique? (inclusive of rental fee, shop design) above or below 20k?

Depends.... sometimes if rental is steep, you have to fork out 1st month rental (plus 3 months deposit) and that's for rental itself. Can easily go up to $10k already. And for stocks wise, you have to have enough stocks to earn back your rental..... and then there's renovation etc. It might hit $20k or more ;/

I & my co. owner planning to open a boutique @ bugis street.. Which places do u think it'd be good to open boutique at > Scape or Bugis street? And is it a great idea if we open shop then blogshop? Pls give me some advice plz!!! I really see great result you're in your work. Congratulation dear!! :)

Hmm.... firstly I think that opening a boutique would be quite risky. It's either a make it of break it as the market for retail outlets in SG is very saturated already so competition is really steep. Unless you have a good selling point which sets you aside from others! Maybe you can try online first to build a customer base then brach out to retail? :)
Also location wise...... obviously Bugis would be a better place as there is high traffic flow but rental is really high and there are already MANY shops selling apparels (and at really low costs as well) Scape wise...... would be Underground? If i'm not wrong traffic there is slightly slower but competition there won't be as bad as bugis since there aren't many shops there!
Not very sure if my advice helps but this is just how I feel uh. I've been wanting to open a boutique of my own for the longest time also but after weighing all the pros and cons I haven't done so :(
