Who are, in you're opinion, the top uncommitted prep/high school players in New England?
I've seen more HS than Prep the last few years and guys who have stuck out have definitely been Ryan Shea (BC High), Austin Goldstein (MC) and JJ Layton (AP).

How do you personally feel about the Redskins nic name?
If the people that the name is offending take offense, then it should probably be changed. But, if not, then it's political correctness for the sake of political correctness. It's similar to North Dakota a few years back. Butin that case, if I remember correctly, the local tribes were OK with them using the name. It's a similar situation at Merrimack a few years back, when they changed their logo, but that seemed to be political correctness for the sake of political correctness, carried out by a previous administration.
Merrimack's new defensemen that will make impact?
Marc Biega is one that most scouts I've talked to have been excited about.

What the biggest NHL underdog story you ever heard of. Like a guy who wasn't supposed to make the league and went undrafted and ended up making the league and being an NHL regular. Like a player in the last 5 years ?
There's been a lot of undrafted guys. Matt Gilroy, Cory Conacher. Teddy Purcell was undrafted.

Is Hanafin a big deal for BC to bring in now?
With Sonny Milano headed to the O, Hanifin becomes our No. 2 recruit behind Eichel at CHN. It's big. He'll be a first-round pick next summer. Probably top-10.
How hard is it to go D1 from OJHL or any CJHL league ? What are the three main ways to get recruited ? And can you still get looks for the first time as a 19 or 20 year old ?
A lot of college programs recruit out of those leagues. And you can absolutely get recruited 19 or 20. There are many teams that prefer older, more mature freshman. Many coaches feel it is a good way to bridge the skill gap.
Merrimack's new forwards that will make impact?
Brett Seney and Austin Plevy will make the biggest impact, in my opinion. Both probably need to get a little stronger, as most freshmen do, but both are game changers, Seney especially.
Will McDavid and Eichel both play in the NHL starting as early at 15-16?
In my opinion, yes.

I don't think a point-per-game is out of the question. My guess would be between 35-45.
When can college hockey teams officially practice this year
Oct. 4, I believe, is the date. Captains will hold practices as soon as guys return to campus I'm sure. That's happening now.

Nothing has been finalized, but I've been told Jason Smith (Hockey Ops) is going to be promoted.
Speaking of Matthews Arena, how come the Super 8 has never had any games played there? Ive played hundreds of mens league games there. The ice can't be to hard to get there. It sure beats Stoneham.
