Duh pas gue mau cabut dari kantor buat ke Rolling Stone nonton Neon Indian eh malah dapet info beginian hahaha. Ya antara sedih dan seneng sih, sedih jadi berkurang dapet info musik asik tapi seneng juga para poser dan hipster kehilangan lagu buat nowplaying di path hehehe *snob*.
Jadi menurut artikel dari Mixmag dan Fact yang gue baca, penyebab tutupnya akun youtube Majestic Casual karena "COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT" .
Jadi pihak Majestic Casual mendapatkan pesan dari pihak Youtube nya langsung karena third-party of copyright dari materi/lagu yang mereka posting selama ini di channel mereka.
Ya bisa jadi pelajaran buat semuanya sih kalau mau re-upload materi punya orang lain di Youtube (khususnya materi dari eropa, amerika dan australia), karena sekarang mereka makin gencar dalam memberantas third-party copyright.
Nah si Fred von Lohmann, Google's copyright legal director pun berkata "We are offering legal support to a handful of videos that we believe represent clear fair uses which have been subject to DMCA takedowns. We're doing this because we recognise that creators can be intimidated by the DMCA's (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) counter-notification process and the potential for litigation that comes with it." *note: gunakan google translate kalau gak ngerti apa kata si Fred itu ya hehe.

Yesss, semenjak bulan lalu terdapat mysterious clock di website band Foo Fighter dan akhirnya sekarang terkuak sudah ada apa sih dibalik itu.
Pada tengah malam kemarin, Foo Fighter mengeluarkan EP terbarunya yang berjudul "Saint Cecilia" dan bisa diunduh secara gratis di websitenya.
Nah gratisnya disini itu ada pilihan untuk donasi juga jika kalian ingin menyumbangkan beberapa uang kalian. Jadi sebenarnya EP ini dipersembahkan untuk serangan teroris di Paris kemarin yang juga membatalkan beberapa rancangan tour mereka.

rick ross or drake?

If we're comparing their discographies I'll have to go with Drake since I've only listened to a handful of Rick Ross tracks and I can say without qualification that they are some of the most vapid hip hop I've had the displeasure of hearing. His verse on Kanye's "Devil in a New Dress" isn't half bad tho.

Drake, on the other hand, has been consistently putting out one solid album after another (although I do admit that 2013's Nothing was the Same was kind of hit-or-miss for me). People don't give him enough credit because they're constantly reminded of his "soft" image by the media, but they should know that Drake can spit as well as any acclaimed hip hop artist;

Masih, tapi lagu Trap yang sekarang-sekarang ini udah bisa disebut EDM Trap, karena udah ada campuran dutch house, techno, dub atau bumbu dance music lainnya. Biasanya, yg membedakan itu ambience dr musiknya, Trap lebih punya kesan dark, gangsta, dirty grimey.
Dulunya nama 'Trap' ini dipakai untuk sebutan nama tempat di mana ada transaksi obat-obatan (terlarang :p). Awalnya dari Atlanta, Georgia, tempat para Rapper yg akhirnya pakai nama 'Trap' itu buat panggilan genre musik mereka.

beberapa dari kami memang ada yang pernah menggeluti dunia musisi, jurnalistik, EO dan dokumentasi yang berhubungan dengan panggung, gig, record, media, dll.

Yo i, tapi itu bukan salah satu hal yang bikin lo suka sama Psychic kan? Soalnya menurut perbandingan rating itu gw seharusnya lebih suka Currents dibanding Psychic padahal kenyataannya gw ngantuk banget dengerin Currents hahaha. BNM itu emang berdampak banget sih buat popularitas suatu artist / band, tapi pada akhirnya cuma lo yang bisa menjustifikasi selera sendiri.

Ada tanggapan serius mengenai albumnya darkside yang "psychic"? Hehe. Karena menurut gua ini super cool terutama untuk lagu pertamanya "golden arrow" yg kebanyakan orang beranggapan untuk lagu pembuka itu seharusnya slow beat, justru ini sebaliknya sangat "mind blowing" sih.

Wuow senang rasanya menemukan seseorang yang juga menggemari Psychic mengingat album tersebut menempati top 10 saya untuk tahun 2013. Selain karena tidak ada track yang skippable buat saya, Psychic juga membuktikan bahwa apabila sebuah kolaborasi dilakukan dengan penuh percaya diri dan tanpa setengah-setengah, hasilnya mampu mengimbangi dan bahkan melampaui karya masing-masing kolaborator yang terkait. Jenis musik elektronik yang dibawakan Nicolas Jaar mengandalkan minimalisme serta repetisi demi menciptakan atmosfer yang hipnotis--bertolak belakang dengan background gitaris jazz / rock & roll-nya Dave Harrington yang membuat beliau terbiasa dengan instrumentasi yang variatif serta komposisi-komposisi yang mengutamakan musikalitas di atas segalanya. Saat kedua kutub ini bertemu di Psychic, mereka justru saling melengkapi satu sama lain. Feel sintetis nan dingin yang menyelimuti musik Jaar seakan dihiasi kehidupan berkat adanya kontribusi gitar dan vokal dari Harrington, sementara kemahiran Jaar dalam membangun sekaligus memperluas suatu ide memperkaya musik Harrington yang cenderung terpaku pada teknik dan konsistensi.

Jadi tadi malam app ini baru aja launching untuk pengguna iOS dan Android, tetapi sayangnya untuk sekarang hanya tersedia untuk market US. Jadi kalau kalian punya acc US baru bisa search app dan menjajalnya.
Gue udah nyoba nih dan ternyata untuk memutar lagunya pun dibutuhkan koneksi US alias jika kalian tidak tinggal di US bisa dihack kok tinggal menggunakan vpn dari US aja.
