One of the best Japanese producers/composers i've ever heard selain Kashiwa Daisuke, World End's Girlfriend (kabar2nya mau rilis album bulan November lho) dan Merzbow. Musik2nya chill banget dan sangat relaxing buat pengantar bengong sendirian di kamar atau ketika lagi butuh sesuatu buat pengantar tidur. Karena gw menganggap Nujabes sebagai musisi bikin rileks, gw lebih prefer his instrumental stuff rather than yang ada nge-rapnya, tapi bukan berarti gw menganggap karya dia yang non-instrumental ngga bagus, they're really great.

Btw karena gw mulai dengerin Nujabes sesudah dia meninggal tahun 2010, gw ngga terlalu mengenal sosok Nujabes alias Seba Jun secara dekat (apaan). Tapi gw kenal 1-2 orang yang bisa dibilang big fans of his sejak pra-2010 dan ketika mereka dengerin Nujabes, they somehow feel depressed 'cause of the fact bahwa Seba Jun udah ngga ada lagi, beda ama gw yang malah merasa chill ketika dengerin Nujabes, mungkin karena mereka punya "koneksi batin" (apaan) dengan Nujabes sedangkan gw ngga.

Sedih memang kalo musisi kebanggaan lau tragically gone secara tiba2.

Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) of Topshelf Records fame bears a lot of resemblances with American Football. Seattle-based Sunny Day Real Estate is a fair enough option as well, albeit their sounds sometimes come off as a tad louder than AF since they embrace some post-hardcore elements. The math-rock act This Town Needs Guns from Sargent House Records would probably be a formidable choice if you're rooting for something that would reminisce you to the math-rock side of AF; the sounds of TTNG is more rhythmically convoluted, though.

Aside from the names mentioned above, the label Run For Cover Records has a lot of what you're looking for; Modern Baseball, Tiger's Jaw, Turnover, Basement, and Seahaven to name a few.

Sejak post terakhir kami pada hari lebaran kemarin, pertengahan kedua tahun 2016 telah memberkati kita semua dengan musik-musik baru yang pastinya tidak kalah berkualitas dibanding yang sudah kita nikmati sepanjang pertengahan tahun pertama. Salah satu dari musik-musik tersebut yang baru saja dirilis adalah "Displacement", single kedua dari album keempat Touché Amoré yang berjudul Stage Four dan akan dirilis pada September mendatang. Seperti single pertama "Palm Dreams", "Displacement" berisikan curhatan Jeremy Bolm mengenai kematian ibunya dan bagaimana tragedi tersebut mempengaruhi kepercayaannya terhadap Tuhan.

the story for GOSH is set in the almost completely empty city of Tianducheng — a copy of Paris in mainland China. The scale of the video makes you think most of it is achieved with CGI but the twist is that it’s all unedited footage.
