My mind immediately starts to scan past actions and conversations in my head that might have caused the person to say "we need to talk." Then I try to comprose myself, get my emotions under control which doesnt always work.
I think I answered in a similar way to a different question. I can't immediately tell if a person is good or evil but I read the person when Ifirst meet them. I make a judgement whether or not I will trust them, etc. It's about listening to what the person says and listening/reading their body language.
What’s your most common first thought when you wake up?
As far as rock & pop, I think its getting worse. Rock music has slowly died. Never again will there be bands like The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Doors. The musicians today are not connected the way they were back in the 60's & 70's. ( Laurel Canyon). I think that there are too many artists and it seems easy to be replaced if an artist doesnt stay on top or release another sucessful song. IMO there are a lot of artists that sound that same, its difficult to tell them apart from each other.
If you could repaint your room, what color would you choose? Why?
I wasn't good with plants when I first started. My mother taught me that plants (and gardening) is very relaxing and can quiet the mind. I also use my plants to gage my home life. If I'm too busy then they tend to dry out. I recently had a tree die and it was over 20 years old. I had neglected it too long and it just couldnt recover. I have several plants now and always looking for more. I like buying clearance plants and bring them back from the brink of death LOL
yes my grocery shopping habits have changed because of the lockdown. I allow myself an hour to get it all finished. I used to enjoy shopping slowly, looking at new foods, crazy flavors of food especially cereal. But nowadays I get want I need quickly and leave. I also go early in the morning just as the store opens because there are less ppl shopping.
Sent to everyone I follow: I feel like going through the list of people I send questions to. Do you still want to recieve my questions? If not, use this question as an opportunity to tell me you don't want to recieve them anymore, don't worry, I won't take any offense! 😊
I love and enjoy your questions. i dont always answer because ive been pretty busy lately and i try to take time away from the internet and social media.
Do you have any compulsive tendencies? Like if you see toilet paper put in the back instead of the front or one mini blind that's not in sync with the others, do you feel forced to go and adjust it? 😆
I don't like birds in general. I think they are kind of gross & very messy. There would be no way in hell I would ever have any bird as a pet. The Cardinal is our state bird. They are a beautiful bird, noisy. The male chirps ALOT. When I was in grade school I did a report on a few birds. I drew & colored a cardinal, Bluejay, Robin and wrote something about each bird. The birds I think are ugly are the European starling. BUT watching them fly all together (murmuration) is really amazing but also kind of creepy.
I don't talk to myself out loud but i do talk to myself in my head. sometimes i'll ask myself "was i saying that out loud?" because it felt like i was.
How quickly do you jump to conclusions about people?
more often than i should. when i first met someone i read them immediately. I will make my own decision about that person but there are times when a friend will influence my opinion about that person.
How do you feel about public speaking? How big was the largest crowd you've had to speak, perform etc. in front of? 🎙
I dip most "normal" foods. French fries in ketchup. Chicken strips in ranch dressing or bbq sauce. Potato chips in onion dip. Carrots in dill dip. Tortilla chips in salsa. And yes it depends on what food I'm eating, I don't always dip.
