What brand of watercolor colored pencils are you using? Do you just wet the brush a bit then paint on the "outline" using the w.c. colored pencils just like how you would normally do using paint?
Faber castell. I use the wc pencil to draw the outline then use regular watercolors to paint on top of it. I usually use the flesh/peach/nude wc pencil because it fades easily and doesnt mix with the other colors.

nope. i make a sketch in pencil on scratch paper so i have an idea on how i want it to look like and to play with colors/color scheme. then, i draw the thing straight na on watercolor paper with watercolor colored pencils so that when i paint over it, it disappears and turns to watercolor din so that there are no pencil marks at all :)
