Cheryl, can you help me? Can you try to convince me that Baekhyun IS likable? I mean, so many people seem to like him so I kinda feel bad for dislking him. He's handsome and sings well ngl but his personality irks me a bit (ok alot) so as a fan could you please give me good and objective answer? :-/
asking me to be objective is kinda hard to be very very very honest. i'm a complete baekhyun stan and this is a disclaimer that i have to state. i do hope that you read this with an open mind and accept that these words come from a fan no matter if you agree or disagree thank you.
to many, baekhyun may seem to be extremely loud, extremely absurd and jokes around way too much sometimes, i do feel that he does try to fill up gaps when the members aren't sure of what to say or when things turn awkward. i won't say that baekhyun is the only one doing so bc i know that's not the case. but it's undeniable that he does break tension on stage especially during long pauses or interviews and he does do outrageous things to bring up the mood.
i can't say that i know baekhyun's personality 100% bc who does apart from the people who know him irl? but one thing i can say for sure is that he does take care of his members to the best of his abilities. he looks out for his members and tries his best to let them speak up more during variety shows, creates reasons for them to talk etc.
baekhyun is human too he has his ups and downs just like anyone else. with the stress of being an idol it's normal for all of them to have ups and downs and sometimes their actions are directly related to these ups and downs and there's nothing we can do to understand them besides the general fact that they're facing tremendous pressure.
