Is the first few months of a r/s usually the hardest? After how many months do u consider it stable r/s? Any advice or tips for new couples?

I think first few weeks/months will be the honeymoon period, like all loveydovey, but after awhile things get worst, misunderstandings & small little things then quarrel, but this is like a 'test' to make your love for each other stronger i guess?
different people different case though!
advice: dont neglect your close friends cos u are attached. If not ur friends will feel that u prefer r/s over f/s
