Not a question but, I have only seen 2 episodes of "WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?", and I love it! If you happened to acquire it and give it the dubbing and the amazing Sentai box set treatment, I would preorder it ASAP. Love all of your work!!!

Aw. Thank you for the suggestion! It's not our title though.

I was wondering why the terminology/names in the Girls und Panzer Anzio OVA dub are different to the series dub; "sensha-dou" instead of "tankery" for example. It's not a big deal but it's a bit of a shame; the series and OVA don't match up.

Steven
As the audience matures, so can our localizations, hence why words like "chunibyo" and "senpai" can make it into a English dub. The Anzio OVA AND the movie (dubbed around the same time) used "sensha-dou" to be truer to the original Japanese source. We still use #tankery on social media though because it's a fun word.

I don't know if you've answered this before, but what factors go into deciding what shows you are going to license from the new season?

Lots of reasons, but the two easiest are:
-Viewership (if it was viewed a lot on legal streaming during it's simulcast season and after)
-Social Media Response (seeing people clamoring for it on social media/forums/ask.fm)
There are more reasons, but it's too much to fit into this comment.

Why is Bakuon! not getting dubbed? Did you never intend to dub the show when it was licensed?

Naftali Poritz
Every show has the potential to receive a dub/special edition. When a title doesn't receive a dub, it means that it didn't perform well enough to warrant it at the time. That doesn't mean it won't in the future if the demand is there.

How does the Ushio and Tora box set work and open up, can you post some sort of a scheme or animation?

Sentailover’s Profile PhotoTanaka-kun
We definitely show you guys when it comes in! The box design is called "hako chitsu", a Japanese style packaging that folds out. When some arrive to the office, we'll totally do a demonstration :)

I was looking through the Anime Network, and I noticed a classic show that didn't have a physical release: RahXephon. Do you have any plans for a DVD/BD release for this series? It's one of my favorites of the mecha genre, and has gone unnoticed by many.

Rei The Double-O
Awesome show, but we have not announced any plans to release this title to home video to date.

Hey guys just a question but for Atom the beginning are you guys going to change the title in the west into Astro boy the beginning ? thanks if you can answer this :)

Chris G
Nopes. We're going to go with the original Japanese title: ATOM THE BEGINNING. Fun show too.
Hey guys just a question but for Atom the beginning are you guys going to

Hey there, I know that you guys are down to the wire on your #TheDubsAreComing list, & from the looks of it, It's going great so far, so to be honest, I don't want it to end like this, & the fans feel the same way, so tell me, when will your 2nd dubbing wave list hit, at the Anime Expo I bet? ;)

We miiiiiight. Haven't decided yet.

Are you planning to get the licensing rights for two anime shows that came out this year, Nyanko Days and Hinako Note? I hope you guys get the licensing rights, as M.A.O, the voice of Papika from Flip Flappers also does the voice of Hinako, in Hinako Note. Just curious. Thanks.

We love M.A.O.! She also played the voice of Bada-chan in ClassicaLoid. We can't talk about unannounced licenses on social/Ask.fm, but it's good to know that there is interest in the two titles you mentioned.

Have you guys started making your limited sets more limited? I love your Premium Box Sets but with so many sales happening the last few months I find it hard not to wait a few months for a price drop.

Pikagreg’s Profile PhotoGregory Guillen
Limited means limited: a set quantity. Once they gone, they GONE. The box set for Love, Chunibyo, & Other Delusions sold out about last year; Persona 4 the Animation is pretty much sold out, and we're thinking most of the No Game, No Life's will be gone by the end of this year too. We can't disclose the exact quantity of premium box sets created per title, but we only do one run. When they run out is up to the market.

Do you guys plan to opening up your store for international orders? Rightstuf offers international shipping so they may be able to help you guys out since they ship for you guys.

Pikagreg’s Profile PhotoGregory Guillen
Several international fans have brought this up, and while we don't have an answer on any future plans for the Sentai Shop, we can say that we have noticed the demand.

Will you be announcing anything new and interesting at Anime Boston?

I wonder why the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Himouto! Umaru-chan does not contain the OVA?

Naftali Poritz
We don't know the answer to this, but the DVD/BD release will contain a ton of extra content like Umaru-chan shorts, Banquet Mondays specials, and commentaries.
