Yes, it is indeed. And also, Asma was Abu Bakr’s daughter, and one of the first to accept islam. I'm proud with my name and I try at least to follow asma as my model<3

Which one of these philosophies do you agree with more? A) Everything could be explained with rational thought & logical reasoning B) Logic is important & could solve many things but the brain isn't perfect so we sometimes need to count on 'faith'

I'm so overwhelmed with joy and happiness! I knew it was mohammed! Palestine and all arabs are so proud of him! Congratuations to Mohammed Assaf, for winning the title of Arab Idol. Me as a palestinian so proud of him<3 congratulations to the many gifts and surprises you got including, being the national goodwill ambassador^^
He deserved to win not just because of his compelling back story, but because he is a true artist, he is one of those voices you don’t hear everyday, he’s capable of doing all kinds of music from Gulf to the Levant and to classical. Assaf has made Palestinians proud in a way politicians haven’t been able to do! I've got mohammed Assaf's fever, really its magnificent how an artist can unify people the way Assaf is doing!
Here is his story:c
Assaf, a wedding singer from a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, has been the front-runner in the show where contestants are eliminated every week. The 23-year old almost didn’t make it to the show, saying he had to plead with Hamas to let him leave Gaza, then bribe Egyptian border guards to let him enter the country en route to Lebanon. A fellow Palestinian gave up his slot during the audition phase because he believed Assaf had a better chance at winning.
Thank u Mohammed, You’ve made Gaza and Palestine lift their heads up high<3 Honestly, Assaf deserves to be an international artist.
He showed the world that Palestine is still there!
