My dad is awesome. He's really smart and can fix anything, he builds street rods from the frame up. He watches a lot of the same television I do and he can mix a badass gin and tonic. He mans the grill like nobody I've met and anything that he cooks comes out delicious. He's a hard worker and generous to those who deserve it, he made sure my family had everything they needed and more when we were growing up. He and my mom are still together for what's going on 40 years and that's pretty outstanding these days. He knows how to have a good time, he has a sweet-ass Harley and takes trips crosscountry with it. He's just, I don't even know.

It's like I knew he was a good father when I was growing up but it takes time as an adult to really get a full handle on the appreciation you have for your parents when they're as good as mine are. Like when you're a kid you don't realize how tough it is to make sure the bills are paid and everything in the house works right. He gets a wall painted and you're like "cool, looks good" but then you try to paint a wall of your own later and it's like "oh my god brush strokes and roller drip and taping off things and I smudged this and there's paint on the floor and in my hair and fuck so much of this why is this so difficult my dad built our entire back deck and did all the stonework and landscaping for our huge house and I can't make the toilet stop running I am fail"

Also he had breakfast with Stephen Tyler one year when he was at the Sturgis rally and that's pretty neat. I love that he gets to have crazy travel adventures.

Only Lovers Left Alive is at the top of my Must See list along with Maleficent. Maybe also Transcendence. I'm not really up to date with what's in theaters now or soon, I think it comes from not watching much television and not riding the subway so there's minimal exposure to trailers and promo.

Emotionally, yes. Physically, no. We're not sexually monogamous and being in a relationship doesn't change anyone's sexual preferences necessarily, just the way it's expressed. A bisexual person in a monogamous relationship is still bisexual even if they're not acting on it.
