That's not necessarily true. Most teams don't have much cap room to sign players for larger contracts than their previous ones.

No. This roster they have probably won't make it into the second round, maybe even the playoffs. They need bench players to add in the next couple of seasons and see if everyone can be healthy. Kobe is declining and the Lakers haven't done much to prove that they're championship contenders.

How do you think the NBA can be better
A lot of people who say they don't like NBA games is because they rig games. It would be better if the NBA didn't have 150 million year old referees and had younger people who can see the court much easier to "control" the game. I'd be much better for players to not get technicals for just a few trash talks here and there. Annoys the fuck out of me.
What rules would you like to be changed in the NBA
Change the flopping fine to a 2+ game suspension with the fine. I immensely dislike flopping in the game. And I'd like to see less touch fouls. Makes the defense a bit more aggressive and more fun to see.
