This can act like a two-edge sword. Yes, the poor will benefit, but those who steal may face charges of robbery, and subsequently the receiver may be charged as well.

Well yes, some people today lived in poverty, while some lived in luxury. This is I think a problem of developmental gap within a country, or between parts of the world. Europe and North America tends to be developed and people there are more likely to live in luxury, while Africa and Asia are developing worlds and there are more people who lived in poverty.
