Too many things, I don't know where to start.
Would legalizing marijuana be a good thing or bad thing?
I'm afraid I'm not the right person to answer this, but should you insist, I'd say it's bad. Sure it's a plant and as far as I know it can be used for medical purposes but if it were legalized the medical purposes might branch out to the bad uses that marijuana is notorious for.
