He might be different, it's not necessary for him to follow his family's lead, so I'd take the risk.
And even if he marries again, a divorce will happen, I'll get over him and live my life as if he never existed. Problem solved.

I won't allow the marriage to be fixed in the first place, he's my best friend's ex, that's totally against the sister code to even give him a mere glance in the street.

I'd go for option two.
But, the thing is, answering this question is a bit tricky. As picking the first option, on an open site, the general public will react negatively thinking the person is selfish, and so he/she would shift to the second option even if it weren't true.
Did I just contradict myself?
"Yes, you did." Whispers the voice in my head.
It's okay, I'm just stating facts.
