During a classtrip to the Högskolan I Skövde they mentioned your company (Can't remember exactly what.) But do you have any form of connection to that School?
Yes! I went there for 3 years. Graduated only two years ago.
A friend of mine is interested in the Game Design programme in Skövde. Would you recommend it? If yes, for what particular reasons?
I would! Even though education isn't mandatory if you want to become a game developer, it's a pretty good start. Skövde has a pretty good college, but the main reason why I'd recommend it is because you get to interact with other game developers such as yourself. I probably learned way more from other students than from teachers. There are also a lot of new startup game companies there so it's pretty easy to get an internship.

Is there a likelihood that the optimisation patches won't be patched with the major updates next time? Waiting 2 months for a game to run better is a bit silly.
I don't know when the next optimization patches are coming, it's probably gonna be pretty slow the coming few months since many of our programmers are on vacation. It's summer after all

sorry, but too many people wrote bug reports to me over steam instead of posting them on our forums, they asked me for free keys, asked me where to get stuff in goat simulator, etc. it became too much
So i just realized the song I want actually is on the OST... But I can't buy the OST because I don't have a debit card or a paypal account :(, Is there any other way to obtain it? (All hail the sanctum 2 chairs btw :D)

Is there any way to obtain the song which plays in the sanctum 2 level "The final stand"? It's a really good song imo, but I think it's not included in the soundtrack... And I'd really want it. :( (also, much love, I love you <3)
There's a soundtrack up on bandcamp I think. The songs on the trailers that aren't featured in it were made in 15 minutes by our soundguy solely for the trailers. Your best bet is to rip it from youtube or something :) also thanks <3
Is your next game going to future the same chairs as in sanctum 2? Or at least the same chair physics? (pushing chairs around, while they constantly make noise) This was one of the best features, thanks. (Still loving the game btw, and you..)

A follow-up to my Xbox question, if you don't mind. Was your experience working on consoles and their marketplaces sour enough to mean you won't be making any games for them in the future? I know never say never - I just want to know if I should get my hopes up!

Will your next game be made on Unreal Engine 4? Or three again.
It will be in Unreal Engine 4! Basically we knew that our production costs would be higher if we'd use UE4 because we don't know it as well as UE3, but it just feels so good to work in UE4 that we'll do it anyway. Also, pretty graphics.
I can understand the name of all other goats but why is the classy goat named as such?
Actually, that was @Ockeffs stupid idea. I thought we should go with Arctic Goat, Winter Goat, or something like that, but Oscar was like "HAHA NO MAN, TUXEDO GOAT IS SO FUNNY EVERYONE WILL GET IT". Needless to say, I'm the only fun person at the office.
How big has the company grown in employees since it started?
We started out as 9, and now we're 16. We like to grow very slowly and not overextend and have to do layoffs like many other companies in the industry
I hope you're the right person to ask this question. Any update on whether we will get the final DLC for Sanctum 2 on Xbox? I'm in love with this game and would like the opportunity to play all the content!
Sadly, that probably won't happen, last time the submission process for Microsoft was incredibly complex and took a lot of time, we were never featured and didn't make that many sales, so we ended up losing a lot of money porting the first parts of the DLC for Xbox. Right now we're working on other stuff and we can't really spare any people, even if we wanted to.
Will your next game be crazier than Goat Sim or more toward the "legitimate" (I quoted that cause I didn't mean it bb boo) game side?
It will probably be more of a real game. With that said, I really hope to make another crazy game like Goat Simulator sometime in the future, but not right after Goat Simulator. I think variation is really important if you're going to make good games.

Actually, the next game that we hope to work on in the future is kinda hard to explain genre-wise. I want to talk about it SO BAD but we're in pre-production right now and a lot of things will change. But we are crazy people here at Coffee Stain so you can definitely expect something unexpected

nope, there are so many of those games out there, I prefer to work on completely crazy shit that no one has done before :D
You might nog really like this question (because possible spoilers?) But is sanctum 3 coming up soon? Sanctum 2 is by far still my favourite game now! I'd also love to see the story progress! :D
We'll probably make Sanctum 3 some day, but not right now. We've worked on the Sanctum IP for the last 4 years so we'd like to do something else as our next big project, something completely new :D

What game that was shown at E3 are you most excited for? Besides Grim Fandango, that is.
Actually, we were provided with a free booth at E3, so I didn't have time to go to the press conferences or hang out at other people's booths. I did get a chance to try out the new Smash Bros game, I guess I'm gonna have to buy a Wii now.
