Why isn't Parasyte going to be dubbed? I think the show's popularity grants it a dub don't you think? Just wondering. Please notice me Sentai :p

We never said it wouldn't be dubbed! And for the record I wholeheartedly agree with you.

That teaser for Parasyte that you guys posted on youtube had English speaking news reporters on it. I'm wondering if you can say if much work has been done on the dub for the show already or not.

Right now, no. For the English reveal trailer, we actually gathered a few people from the office to be reporters. We had a male and female English speaker, a Spanish speaker and someone who spoke Vietnamese.

Well, we are packing in TONS of extras on the disc, actually! We shot a lot...a LOT, of footage with Jessica, and put the juiciest bits in our release. They're pretty funny, we hope you enjoy them!

I would straight up be in chibi mode all day every day. That **** is cute.

I loved the soundtracks that were included with some of your releases. Any more on the horizon?

I hear No Game No Life is coming with a CD. ;)

Do you plan on getting season 1 and 2 of Hayate the combat butler because you have season 3 and 4.

It's on our to do list!

Are there plans for a No Game No Life season 2? From Japan of course, I know you guys just sub it.

We haven't heard anything yet about a potential season 2, but if and when that does happen you can be sure we'll be on top of it!

Do the people at the Sentai office enjoy any American cartoons?

Sure! I grew up watching Tom and Jerry (I still do), the girl next to me has a really bad Batman addiction, and I know a bunch of other people love stuff like Adventure Time.

Hey Sentai, I got 2 questions for you. Have you considered/are you considering Licensing the animes M3: The Dark Metal and Hamatora/Re:_Hamatora? are you also considering doing a dub for Chiaka: The Coffin Princess?

We look at every show that comes out of Japan for possible licensing, be it from the current season or seasons that have past. As for Chaika getting a dub...kinda hoping for one personally!

Yes, it definitely will. Can't really say when, things are still falling into place.

What additional releases can we expect from the Tatsunoko Deal Sentai signed?

We have a few more titles that we haven't announced yet, but are in the pipeline for release. As for a certain date, can't really say!

Any plans for doing a Collector's Edition for Haikyu? And for any past releases like Persona 4 The Animation or From The New World?

There is a possibility that some of our shows will eventually receive a collector's edition, though there are a lot of different things to factor in when making that kind of decision. More specifically, I can tell you that one of this may get a nice set in the future. :)

Yes, we are always open to that. In some instances there is what we call a "hold back" that for some reason or another is being imposed upon certain titles. A good example of this is K-ON season 1, which is currently under a blu-ray hold back period. I wish this was something we didn't have to deal with (and in turn, you have to deal with as well), but this is just one of those quirks of the industry we gotta live with.

Are you looking into licensing the Bodacious Space Pirates movie? I need my Chiaki!

We are always on the lookout whenever new, significant content comes out for one of our franchises. Bodacious Space Pirates is a great title as well, so there's a good chance we will look further into more content from that show. I'm crossing my fingers, you cross yours too :)

While voice acting seems like a cool job, I assume it takes more than a few VA's to dub an anime. From licensing to release, can you describe the other jobs required to dub and release your anime?

The answer to this will be part of a larger series of things we are working on here at Sentai. While I can't answer this NOW, it will definitely be answered in the future. :)

Why is Sentai Filmworks so amazing? Also, if you could buy a custom waffle maker that comes in ANY SHAPE YOU WANT, what shape would you choose? Would you top said waffles in a flavored syrup other than the standard maple?

1st question: I'm going to have to say because of the amazing and handsome work their social media guy is doing. Super awesome job, guy. ;)
2nd question: The shape of anime obviously. What that shape is I couldn't tell you, I can only dream.
3rd question: Standard maple. I'm a no frills guy.

Any news about Black Bullet?

Asked around the office, so far it has a murky release date. Still have to hash out particulars to see where it can go on the schedule. :)
