Hijab is really just the way you wrap it I guess bC it's literally the scarves you see other girls wrap around their necks lol. Like technically all you gotta do is cover your hair and when it's a special occasion, I do African head wraps and stuff and wear earrings but it's generally easier and natural to wear a hijab (covers your neck)

I answer this so many times and in the end it's all in the roots of the religion and protecting the women. As harsh as it may sound at first, when you take the assets that attract men physically and take that away what you're left with is the qualities of the actual person. It's natural for guys to base what they like from what they see so if you dress modestly and act with grace, it forces the REAL men to see beyond a woman's appearance and into what they're all about like their personality, their kindness, their outlooks on life etc. many people think that Islam confines a woman but in reality women are valued so much that it's crazy. Our religion protects us soooooo much and just covering our hair is just a small metaphor of what it's all about.

Advice to all the teenagers out there?
life is tough; especially high school. But remember that things DO get better because what happens now won't matter in a few years. No matter what happens, things change and people change. Sometimes it's for the better, sometimes it's or the worse. No one knows which is the outcome so just live in the moment and enjoy yourself because one day you'll look back and wish you did.
