Do you have any dietary restrictions?

ThePlea’s Profile PhotoFabulous Fin
Certainly not! Today I ate a chicken & ham pie and a steak & guinness pie (admittedly they were both small), with a lemon drizzle cake.
My attitude is that I walk, cycle & run like a soldier, so I can’t and won’t stint on the eating. I’ve actually lost weight over the last two months, despite not being on any kind of diet.

If you could rewrite the ending (or any storyline) in a film, show or book, what would you change it to?

I was watching ‘Goodfellas’, which SEEMS to be a great film, but I’ve accidentally watched Part 2 fitst and am going to watch Part 1 tomorrow (had meant to do it the other way round but out the wrong dvd in and didn’t notice).
So a way to reverse that would be nice!

Do you think trigger warnings should be included in books?

spicyginger1888_’s Profile Photospicyginger1888
Yes, if they contain racism, sexism, antisemitism, lynchings, rape and so on.
I would advise to still read them though, to find what people thought at the time, because great art really can be made by bad people (Evelyn Waugh, Virginia Woolf) and because writing about those things doesn’t mean the auth agrees with them, just that they wrote about them.

I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the huge contracts football players are landing in the Middle East?

The overpayments are obscene and when paid by blood money, even worse.
This is why I never watch football on tv and don’t support a premier league team. I am Port Vale born & bred. Though I know I don’t do anything to oppose the monetisation & sportswashing, at least I don’t make it worse.
