tricksters wan't able to claim the peep bab? what happnd? -cries-

They had full slots when they posted to claim it.

Will there be a third round of the egg hunt?

Yes, there will be. Still figuring out timing, though, so I can't give an exact ETA.

Didn't Claire/Alice get a revamp/cleanup after her readout tho...?

Yeah, I believe so. I hadn't really set a policy for revamps at the time, since I hadn't considered that people would try to do them, so I'm not going to make them change her back now (I don't do ex post facto rules) but for the future that sorta thing wouldn't be allowed.

What if the artist asks/says they want to revamp a plume design they made for someone else?

That would be fine, but only if they specifically offer -- you can't ask them to.

will you ever allow item trading/gifting? it seems a little pointless if someone has an item they know will just rot and never be able to do anything with it (as I know a few people who have items they don't want to use)

Generally, you should only go for an item that you want and will use. At the moment I don't want to allow trading/gifting because it would be easy to lose track of items/have them resold at unfair rates.

I've asked before, but I never received an answer. What are the conditions for a plumerian to be revamped? It's not only an option for artists, is it?

Plumerians are not allowed to be revamped for now, except on occasion when an artist has an old custom of theirs that they want to touch-up (since they made the design themself, for themself). If you adopt a plumerian, you're adopting the design as-is.

if parents/grandparents dont have heterochromia, are their children allowed to have it? I thought it was only if the artist specified but i could be wrong?

It's only if the artist specifies it, yeah.

If you used the gene picker and got permission to use two 00's as the "parents" is there a chance the baby would have vr traits?

The gene-picker can't be used to select VR traits, but they'll still have the 10% chance of rolling them if both parents are VR, yes.

Add on to the arranged marriage q: what if the expartner was a real plume? Would it still be ok? (Given that the other plume owner, if there is one, is ok with it too)

It would be alright as long as they haven't bred & the other owner's alright with it, yes!

If you have an event item that allows you to add hair to a plume, is there a limit to how long the hair can be? [I thought I had seen the answer to this before but I can't exactly remember] Also does the rarity of the plume change due to the addition of hair? [say from common to uncommon]

Yes, there is! You can find specifics on item regulations here: http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=2687567&p=86172759#p86172759
And yes, the rarity of the plumerian would change from common to uncommon if you added hair.

Are family traits a thing? For example, in a breeding the Plume getting edits from a sibling of one of the parents?

Usually, no; they may occur in some cases, but that's up to the artist's discretion.

So when devolving one of my plumes, I thought with their background that they would have been forced into an arranged marriage early in life. While this doesn't factor into their life anymore, being separated from that nonexistent partner, i was wondering if this was okay in the first place.

That's fine, since the old partner isn't a real plumerian.

Can you add scars to your plume? Or at least the human version I have plan for my plume, and it involves a decent scar to be added to him. (If not.to his feral ref can I add it to his human version?)

Yes, you can add scars to human or feral forms as long as they don't significantly alter the design.

Are there still growths going on? I have a bab that needs to be grown ouo

At the moment, most of our growth artists are busy -- but you're welcome to grow them yourself or get a friend to do it as long as you get the growth approved by staff before posting it!

When we try out for a Plume, can we write stories about them living as a human/anthro rather than just their original form? Or would that be against the species rules?

That's fine; I think a lot of people think of/develop them as human characters (since they tend to have human-esque lives/jobs/etc).

Can more than one plumie have the same name? C:

Yes, if the owner of the first one with the name is okay with it. If they aren't comfortable with it, you'll have to pick another name.

I noticed you raised the slot limit last year when the Plumie anniversary came. Are you planning on something like that again?

No, probably not. The current slot limit is pretty high and I think it'll stay that way for a while.

Someone has probably asked this before, but are wigs allowed on plumes? If not, is there any possibility to add hair to your plume somehow? c': Thanks Char!!!

They aren't, but special items allow you to add hair!

will there ever be an increase in how many times a plume can breed?

Yeah, it's very possible! Probably not anytime too soon, though.

Would other closed species on ChickenSmoothie be able to have relationships with plumes?

Yeah, friendship/etc with other species is totally fine, they just can't be mates or breed or that sort of thing.

In your contests, Char, do defining/explaining names and why they think of themselves as a certain gender count as an extra?

Probably not, but it may be safer to go on a case by case basis -- if you're allowed to elaborate on the name/other sections of the form then I'll usually say so in the post.
