I worked for a neighborhood supermarket in Uniondale, Long Island. Really cool job.
Who is your biggest mentor?
23 years ago, I attended Toastmaster for public speaking. I was appointed a mentor, Joan Clout Kruse. In addition to being a great coach for my speeches, she was also influential in guiding me in my broadcasting career. Though I don't see her as often as I used to, I couldn't thank her more for the help she has given me over the years.

Natalie Wood - I've been a fan of hers since I first saw her in 'Rebel Without a Cause'. When she walked on the screen, my heart just melted. Probably because she had those beautiful Brown eyes and Eastern European (Russian) facial features. She was also a wonderful actress. If a movie with Natalie Wood is on TCM, I will stop channel surfing and just watch. I won't pay attention to the movie. I'll just watch and be at awe of her beauty. May she rest in peace. ❤️
