Are you referring to the seniors from 2011 that I mentioned earlier? If so, I don't really KNOW them. I know of them. Daniel Ferguson though was one of my best buds growing up. Juno and Lenna I just saw in theater.

why do you want to go into film
I've already had experience with working with student filmmakers..and I've actually been in the film industry for 8 years now. Kinda crazy ain't it? It just feels really professional, and you get to meet some really great innovators along the way. I love acting...but I also want to be behind the camera.
Wongfu is actually my biggest inspiration. Film can transcend into YouTube and the internet as well as TV movies and of course, the feature film industry. Hopefully I can combine that with Theater, which could also allow me to be on stage, which would allow me to possibly combine music--- it's just a good path for what I'm interested in: Acting, cinematography, YouTube, writing, performing and music.

why did you start making videos on internet?
I'm actually surprised with how many Youtubers actually started out with this idea, but I originally started doing lipsyncing videos with my best friend, Martin. We were messing around with that and discovered a website called YouTube. We jumped on the opportunity, combined our names to make "SeaTin Productions", and came up with a bunch of ideas! It was fun, time-consuming, and rewarding.
I still remember this day we were trying to lipsync to "White And Nerdy" by Weird Al, and we would've completed it if we had a cord to connect it to the computer. We started in 2007. Fun little history for you, thanks for the question!

I remember Lenna being a huge inspiration to want to start acting in the early years, Juno-- OH, DANIEL FERGUSON. THIS DUDE. Ugh he's my bro for life. We were neighbours growing up, and his brother always scared me. He'd be like "WHY ARE YOU WANTING TO HANG OUT WITH DANIEL, YOU'RE LIKE 4 YEARS YOUNGER THAN HIM". We even made a couple videos together!

How do you feel about the Grade 11's that'll be graduating next year? Do you regret making so many friends with people in higher grades that you'll have to see off?
I would love to just say "yes, I hate that I have to go through all of this sadness and heartbreak once all my friends graduate" but that would be so selfish, and also ignorant. Sometimes you have to say goodbye, and I don't regret one single friend I made to this day. Sure, things end. But when you think about it, this world we live in is so huge and we live so long that high school is just a small fragment of our life (aside from the odd-chance that we don't survive very long). I know that the real friends I made will stay in touch with me, or I'll find a way to stay in touch with them. I'm not worried at all, and I have no doubt in my mind.
In regards to the question about the Grade 11's, oh boy. I didn't get close to y'all as much as I did the graduates of this year...but when you think about it, I met them THIS year, the year they're graduating. The year you graduate, you typically become more widely known, thus making it more likely to talk to more people. I therefore believe that this year will be somewhat similar to next year. I do have some gems on the shelf that I'll soon have to take off and give away, but I won't let them get too far away from me ;P

Her parents wouldn't allow dating until after high school. Plussss it wouldn't have lasted past graduation anyways. LDR's are super hard to maintain.

I FEEL AWFULLY SAD. I became extremely close with almost all of the grade 12s in the drama department this year... Some were closer than I thought I was going to be with.

Hell yeah. I went through a lot with her though, so it's obviously a biased opinion. Deep down I know she means well, and she deserves respect regardless of whatever anybody else thinks about her, including me.
What you have to understand though is that everybody can be mean. I would know, I'm a big freaking douchebag half the time. She just knows what she wants, and she goes after it. I admire that part of her.
