How many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror?

Every morning, every night. I have a mirror paved ceiling with a dance pole attached so that I can practice my moves.
Just joking, couldn't attach the pole, the service man said it could crack the mirrors...

Türkiye'de beğenip takip ettiğin , desteklediğin gruplar var mı ? hani şu grup çağırsa seve seve çalışırdım , desteklerdim vs dediğin ... (kendi grupların hariç)

Eskiden, özellikle ZOR'da çalıştığım dönem çok fazla grup takip ediyordum, 300-400 tane amatör grup demosu topladım daha iki gece önce dolaplarımdan (taşınıyorum zira), ancak şu anda hiç kimse yok açıp dinlediğim, piyasadan çok koptum albüm dışında bir şey yapmayı bırakınca (turne, yazarlık vs.)
Eminim birçok yetenekli insan vardır (bence var) desteklenmesi gereken ama isim vermem zor, tamamen benim kopukluğumdan ötürü.
Profesyonel gruplardan çok arkadaşım var, onlar zaten arkadaş kontenjanından olduğundan bu soruya dahil olmaz sanırım.
Seve seve çalışma kısmındaysa, müzik ilgimi çekerse hayır demem tabi ki ama ben iş konusunda, müzik özellikle, biraz zor biriyimdir, çalışma disiplinim bazı insanları gerer (geçmişte de germiştir) =).

Seems like Germany so far. They are the new Spain, adapting a Bayern Munich style to an already established system and it paid off so far against a formidable opponent.
I don't think Pepe's dismissal changed a lot in means of the game outcome against Portugal. It probably served Germany only in means of possible injuries as the man is a bulldozer, uncaring for injuring others.

Any games you are waiting to play? Any E3 favs?

E3 favorite: Definitely Witcher 3.
Other games I am eagering to get my hands on: Pillars of Eternity, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, Witcher 3 (I cheated, I know) in the short run. But then, I buy around 60 games or so in a year, so it is a fair assumption to see that list grow.

How do you find the artists you work with? Both for Maegi and Neverland?

I make a list of artists I would like to work with. Then I compose and prepare demos. This step takes around a year or so. Then I start contacting with the names and start the dialogue, sending them the material and see if they are interested. If that is the case, then comes the scheduling and arrangement of studios and such.
Finally, I receive the recordings and start mixing them with the studio recordings here. Sometimes the artists use demo versions of the songs to sing or play over, or they wait for the actual album recordings (especially for instrument players).
This step takes around half a year or so.
Then comes the mixing and such, etc. etc.

Megadeth'e gitmeyi düşünüyorum çok ciddi (hatta kesin de işte olur bir şey falan diye belki koyuyorum başına).

Türkiye burası, o tarihe kadar 32 kere konsere bir şey olur, ülkeye bir şey olur, mekana bir şey olur. Olur da olur. Maegi için bir şey söylemek bir kenara, konserin olmasını garanti görmek için bile çok erken henüz.

What do you think of Spain going out of the cup?

It was expected to be sincere. Spain's system is very much like Barcelona's way of playing and it was getting old both because the key players changing or getting old and because it started to slow them down against fast opponents.
The inability to place direct shoots or counter attacking created a team that passes the ball and... well, only doing that.
Oh, and calling names just for the sake of their fame to the team is a bad idea as well as placing players who are not familiar with that style to positions they cannot create anything, like Costa.

Will you create an Order faction in Star Citizen :D

I am bugging Golanski to do that =) but, why not? :D

What's the worst thing you have ever done?

Thought real life was something you could achieve every thing you dream of.

Dinlemedim ama birden fazla defa isimlerinden övgüyle bahsedildiğini duydum. Dinlemem gerek en kısa zamanda. Zaten bir sürü dinlemediğim grup ve albüm birikti, artık tekrar bir dünyaya baksam iyi olacak, hatırlatma için teşekkürler!

Power ve progresif metalin gidişatı hakkında ne düşünüyorsun? Seri üretim albümler gelmeye başladı hep...

Sevdiğim hemen her albüm 10 yıllık veya daha eski. Demek ki çok iyi şeyler düşünmüyorum. Eskisi kadar takip etmediğim de bir gerçek ama eskisi kadar tutkulu bir şeyler çıkmadığı da ortada. Artık işin ticareti değişti diye seri üretime mi geçildi, başka bir şey mi bilemiyorum ama genel olarak güzel değil.
Sound olarak da değil. At tepmesi gibi davul samplelayıp sonra da sentetik geliyor diye mızmızlanma durumu var. Ben bundan kaçınmaya çalışıyorum. Güçsüz, vs diyor insanlar ama açıkçası diğeri beni mutlu eden bir sound değil. Yapacaksak da doğalının daha iyisini yapmamız lazım diye düşünüyorum.

What are your plans for the summer?

Moving my house and studio, recording demos for Maegi II: Tales From the King's Court. Maybe, MAYBE a small holiday.

Zamanında dreamtone zengin grup derlerdi, hakikaten öyle miydi?

Paçalardan akardı. 2001 - 2010 arası safi borç ödemekle geçti albüm vs yapacağız diye.
Bir de ben anlamadım hiç zengin grup söylemini. Diyelim ki zengin, yani?

Are there any plans for a live Maegi appearance?

No. Maybe. Playing live on stage is fun but planning a tour is not. For most bands, it is a part of the package. It is their job and they do it with devotion. They make money from live gigs, not from album sales. For me, it is a professional hobby, so I would prefer to play at a special festival or at my hometown.
I enjoy being on stage but it would tire me fast to be on the road for some time.

How do you find the time to do all those things?

I don't watch TV and I work at home. It creates a lot of freedom and spare time. Also, I am good with time management.

Dreamtone ve Neverland vardı, n'oldu onlara abi?

Dreamtone dağıldı. Resmi olarak herhangi bir açıklama yapılmadı hiç, "belki tekrar bir şeyler yaparız" bir gün diye, ama öyle bir şey olma olasılığı oldukça düşük, dolayısıyla da dağıldıklarını söylemek yanlış değil. Bir elemanı İngiltere'de yaşıyor, diğeri daha bu hafta eşinin işi nedeniyle başka şehre taşındı. Neverland zaten Dreamtone projesi gibi bir şeydi, Turneden sonra uykuya yatırılmıştı, sonuçta uyandıracak kimse olmadığından aynı kaderi paylaştı.
Ben 2012 başında Dreamtone defterini kapattım, sonra bir veda konseri gibi bir şey oldu kendi açımdan, ondan sonra da grup ile ilgili herhangi bir bağlantım kalmadı, kimsenin de kalmadı zaten. Do you worry about your future?

Nope. People spend too much time worrying about their future or clinging to their past to realize they are living in the "now". It is a mistake we all do at some point but best to avoid it as best as you can and at your earliest convenience.
Registering for a retirement plan is not a worry about a future, it is a simple precaution. "What will happen?" kind of thougts are the real hindering sentiments. It also kills the productivity. I prefer creating something in the now, rather than worrying about what might the future bring.
The funny thing about future is that you can alter its course in some way. The past, however, shouldn't be something that you look back and regret spending your time with worrying. You cannot get back those time you wasted.

Album of the year so far?

I didn't listen to anything new this year so far, sadly. Was too much focused on writing music and stories. However, I am willing to check out the new Iced Earth and Freedom Call albums as well as the upcoming Evergrey CD.

Do you listen to others projects like yours? (Avantasia, Ayreon, etc)

Sure. I really like some of the earlier Ayreon stuff. The Human Equation and the ones before that. I also very much like the first two Avantasia albums. The first Avantasia was a really good power metal album actually.

What's the first thing you check when you turn on your computer?

E-mails and error messages (long live Windows...)

Slayer ve Seasons =). Sepultura'yı da severim tabi, Chaos A.D. ile az kafa göz yarmadık. Hoş ben ufak tefek bir adamım, pogo falan oldu mu suyum çıkardı hep =).
