At school my friend and I both came out as bi as a "joke", I knew it wasn't a joke, but whatever. With my family, my mum went through my phone one day and noticed I had a boyfriend and was planning on seeing him. She was disappointed at the fact I didn't tell her, she was fine with the fact I liked guys. Please note at this time my family and I were not close.
