I'm at 19 y.o. girl who got picked on alot by my seniors from the same college. The label me a 'hiao po' just because my voice is sharp and even say I must have slept with my supervisors since all of them are so nice to my at work. :/ it is hurtful to hear all these. do u have any advise to overcome

But then I found fashion and the liberty of expressing oneself through art. That's what got me through all the bullshit in reality. When people say bad things about me, I get hurt too (but only for a minute BWAHAHAHAH); we're all humans, it's normal that we get affected by people's cold words. It's not like we can control what people say, right? So all you can do is just ignore them.

I never really have a legit explanation as to how I remain confident or EVEN have confidence HAHAAHHA. But I guess, a lot of my confidence came from my outfits. It's the clothes that I wear that makes me feel confident because I just feel really comfortable in it. Other than that, it's also because of the supportive friends that accepts me for the annoying person that I am, especially my boyfriend AHAHHAHAHA. They gave me the feeling of "I belong here" whenever I am around them (although most of us share different interests). Back when I used to get bothered by people's harsh perceptions of me, I often complain to my friends about it, and they never really said much but they gave me the same sentence over a trillion times, which is "just don't care lah, maleh". So yeah, I adapted to that oh-so-inspiring phrase and be all cocky like BITCH I'M FABULOUS. Or "pffft they're just jealous of me" or or "ughhh I'm too gorgeous for them to handle" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH you gotta be really hopelessly egoistic with yourself some times. But don't let it out, man! AHAHAHHA.

One of my ex (ew I hate considering him as an ex ugh ew gross) would tell me to stop dressing the way that I do, and start to dress more 'maturely' and lady-like. Fuck's sake, I don't understand what's his big dealo was, so I didn't really gave much fuck. Whenever we were out, he'd point out other girls to me and be like "see, she dresses nicely. You should dress like that more often. It suits you more" and some times, he would look at other girls and tell me "Why can't you be like them?"
