Do you have any good advise when it comes to making friends at conventions? I'm going to my first convention this summer, alone

First of all most cons have meet ups for first time-goers, which might be a great way to meet more newcomers!
But it's otherwise pretty easy to find friends at cons because most people are super friendly. Just be yourself, ask politely if you may join any of the activities or games and you'll find friends in no time. The cosplay contests are also a good place to start, I can't even begin counting all the friends I've met backstage while waiting for the contest to start!

Can you upload a picture of your first home made cosplay?

I don't have any photos of my first one sadly (Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece), so here is one of my second one. It's Deidara from Naruto which I wore at UppCon06 or 07 something with my friends as Ino and Sakura.
The costume is shitty as frick and I was of the strong belief that real cosplayers used their own hair and not wigs, haha. But we had a lot of fun and even entered the skit contest with a Naruto Evolution of Dance. I think I was 15 or 16 in this pic??

Ocarina of time! I'd hang out in Zora's Domain and Gerudo Valley, my two favorite places in all Zelda games. But I would also love to live on Windfall Island in Windwaker <3

For me cosplay is about creating something yourself and maybe competing or having photoshoots with friends. It varies :)

Which languages do you understand or speak?

I speak swedish, english and french and I understand a bit of japanese. Not counting the scandinavian languages, which I more or less understand all of them.

I do! Most of it was given to me by my boyfriend, but I also own some family jewelry :p this bracelet I recieved from my boyfriend <3

Which movie do you think is overrated?

Big Hero 6. There, I said it. You can all start hating me now!
It's not that the movie itself is that bad, I just think it has so much wasted pontential. It has these interesting main characters that we barely get to know because they are too many and the movie is too short. I really wanted to learn more about the characters and let them have some development, now it just felt so rushed :(
It was worth watching, sure, but I seriously don't get the hype because I don't think it was that good.
Then again, everyone has different taste. I love Frozen even though many of my friends don't, it's really just all a matter of opinion :)
