A new Fawlty Towers with Cleese and his daughter is being considered. Yes or no?

ashanteee9’s Profile PhotoRobert
I won’t be watching it. I know that he needs money for personal reasons, so I think he’s reinvented that of his brands which people care most about, regardless of whether it’s as good as it was in the 1970s.
I’ll keep to the original and try to forget the new.

How many times have u failed

Only today I got a puncture wh was a hindrance to my cycling comeback, as when I repair a puncture on my back tre it often goes wrong.
I’m not sure if this is a failure (a failed man wouldn’t have gone on that ride in the first place), but I can’t help thinking I bear some blame for going through such rough ground.

What book/film/TV show has had the biggest impact on you, emotionally?

Arnold Bennett, ‘Clayhanger’, because it’s set in my home city and was written by our bard.
Not only does it unfold the city’s history, it also helps understand my granddad’s dementia, as Bennett (whose own father was senile) had such a deep understanding of how someone in that situation thinks & feels.

I have a problem . When I am at home I go to bed. I feel better if I have my legs slightly up. I can stand but I think it's more unpleasant for me than others . Can it be related to my blood pressure ? It's usually 94/66 but that's normal isn't it ?

This is an issue I had when I had hypothyroidism, wh wasn’t diagnosed at the time.
My advice is to go to your GP and ask them to send you for a blood test, as I think your issue may be a sign that something is wrong.

Have you ever pretended to like or enjoy something for the sake of fitting in? If so, what was it?

Yes, when I was at school all the lads talked about football so I’d read the results carefully and talk knowledgeably about what had happened in the weekend’s games, despite not giving a bollocks about it in fact.
The odd thing is, I later became interested in football. Because I work in Crewe, my team (Port Vale) was ridiculed there, as we are in most places, in fairness. So I doubled down and became a full-on valiant, which I still am.

I was about to spend hundreds of pounds on insulation when the installer noticed that there already was insulation, even though it said on the assessment before I bought the house that there wasn’t.
I’m really happy as I’ve got the insulation without spending a penny, and the assessment will now be better without me doing anything.
Also, I’m going here tomorrow, so it’s full steam ahead for me!
