Yes, I was at Trinity College at Cambridge University for a service two weeks ago!It was a real high-church affair, just what I like. I’d long dreamed of going to Cambridge and my day was complete when I went to Kings that afternoon.(Picture is of trinity)
No, I’ve been here http://dry-valleys.tumblr.com/tagged/singapore And to Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand, but not HK.I work alongside Hong Kong people who have had to flee and I would not want to go to a place whose government is so evil.
‘Punk’, nu-metal, emo, metalcore & noughties ‘indie’ all struck me as being a load of bollocks at the time, and with hindsight everyone now agrees with what I thought at the time!
Working in a warehouse called Total HomeEntertainment that did CDs and DVDs (including porn, which I loaded like every other DVD but when I looked at it found weird and offputting). The only good thing was that I barely had anything else to do but apart from that the job, the wages, the people were the worst I’ve ever known. In the end I got fired after being falsely accused of theft, but that ended up being good in the long run because I never did anything so shit ever again (the warehouse shut down a year later anyway).
What is your favorite kind of food to order from the takeaway?
Going to visit my niece in a place I’ve never been to before (St Neots, Cambridgeshire).
★ What phone do you have? / Quel est votre téléphone? ★
A mobile only. I would have had a landline but they’re almost never used other than by scammers ringing about ppi, the road accident I was in, and that kind of nonsense.
Which shops do you miss that aren't in business anymore?
Chatwin’s bakery! They’re actually still going in other towns, but not where I live, and what ‘replaced’ them isn’t half as good.https://www.chatwins.co.uk/
Going to visit my niece who lives here.http://dry-valleys.tumblr.com/tagged/bedfordshireI’m not actually going to Bedford, I’m going with my parents, brother, sil & niece to St Neots, a place I’ve never been to, and hoping if I’m really lucky to fit in a trip to Cambridge!
I have them turned off and find it better.I will defend to the death the right to use pseudonyms, as I do. There are a million and one reasons to want and need not to be known. But there should be an account to go back to, even one that doesn’t give out your real identity.
I was born in 1985, so no, and I can’t help being glad of that.I got into it in my late teens but can’t think I gained much from this. I do find it quite useful now but I understand that it’s a tool rather than something I live by; that the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath.
I was raised Catholic but am now agnostic. My upbringing has shaped my upbringing, such as in that I find free will much easier to believe than predestination. I don’t make a value judgment on that, just saying that it happened. In the way that some plants grow best on some soils and some on others, I’m just that plant and my early experiences are that soil.
Yes, I have!My brother lived in Singers for 9 years. I have been to Georgetown and Batu Ferringi.I do like the Malay food, nasi goreng, nasi lemak, and I used to breakfast at a prata place that was owned by Malays in SG.Also, things that I think are local to Penang, like nutmeg juice & ambra.
I usually go on a walking tour of the city so I get the history and the feel of the place and do my exercise at the same time. When I go to a place I always read books about that place.Of course there is also the eating and drinking, but it’s mostly about absorbing where I am.The last of these 🇲🇦 http://dry-valleys.tumblr.com/tagged/morocco
