In my culture, when a person is on their deathbed, the widows (bc apparently Sky Daddy has a preference for widows and their prayers are heard more) gather up and pray together for the person to be absolved of all sins before they kick the bucket. Do you have any things like that in your culture?

It really depends on whether or not the dying person is religious, but there’s normally some sort of gathering of loved ones, if they have any. They may or may not pray.

What's the biggest crowd you've done something in front of? What were you doing? 🎤👥

What is your stance on the use of fireworks? 🎇✅🚫

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
It’s cool when it’s regulated and done in a safe place. Unfortunately I live in an area where people don’t care about rules or others and shoot fireworks in the shared backyard and in the parking lot like irresponsible clowns.

With the release of Baldur's Gate 3, I felt inspired to write down some questions relating to fantasy / roleplaying games. I know far from everyone are into that kind of stuff, so here's a question asking if you want to recieve them 🏰🐉🎮

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
I missed this question when you sent it months ago. How did you like BG3? It sure won a lot of awards recently, so it must be great. I am still playing a lot of Pokémon.

Have you ever stolen objects or money from your parents when you were a teenager? I have. I was a rebellious stupid teen like most teens. So one day when my dad was away I sneaked into his office and stole like $3k cash. By the time he found out I had already spent like $200. It didn’t end well😭

I hope you got what you deserved. Stealing is for losers.

Say you got a 1500 €, $, etc. gift card at IKEA, what'd you choose to buy with it? 🛋️🛏️

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
I’ve never been to one, but I suspect I would buy bookshelves or a new couch.

Is stepping on grass illegal in some places?

Yes, it is normally a city ordinance so you would need to know and follow that rule.

What would you choose between living in LA and living in NY?

L.A. for sure. It looks relatively “normal” in comparison to NYC where living arrangements are concerned. Apartments are pretty much the same style there as they are here, just $1800 more per month to rent (RIP)!

Is there a city you'd really want to visit? Why? 🗽🏙️

Oh, lots! Lima, Paris, Poitiers, Montreal, Tuscany, anywhere in Japan, Ireland, and Wales…there are more, it’s a long list.

I’m tired of hanging on to someone who never wanted me. I’m tired of dreaming of him, only to be reminded it wasn’t real and I’m left with the feeling of longing after seeing his face.

Ooof, honey you gotta find something or someone else to think about. Distraction helps.

What's the coldest temperature you've ever experienced? What was that like? 🥶

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
It was a record low of about 5 or 6 degrees Fahrenheit on the gulf coast. I remember the beach was partially frozen. We couldn’t leave our homes, and some of the people who did try to drive in it wrecked because cars were sliding into each other and off-road. It was painfully cold for a subtropical climate.

Do you think it's important to have some sort of social etiquette, to know how to carry yourself in society? by that, I don't mean the classical snobby/elitist type of etiquette that is outdated and misogynistic (i.e women don't curse), I mean just knowing how to behave properly.

Certainly

Nowadays, online friendships and even relationships are very common. However, if you had mentioned having an internet friend or relationship 20 years ago, people would have laughed in your face and thought you were silly. Why were internet connections so mocked back then?

My family still turns their nose up at my “internet friends.”

I remember back in 2009 when MySpace was still a thing, and I was 14, I had a crush on an older woman... she was 31 at the time. I wish I could see her again after all these years. Do you think she still looks the same? Do you think I'd recognize her if I saw her?

Yikes.

What's "the chair" in your home? Like where you put used clothes that are still too fresh to be put in the laundry? Is it an actual chair? 👕

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
It’s a “director’s chair” in my bedroom and there is a giant plush blue dragon sitting in it. I lie the clothing on top of the dragon. lol

As a (cis) woman, how do you feel about drag culture? Do you think it's appropriating femininity/womanhood and turning it into a spectacle?

Nothing wrong with drag. It’s just cosplay for adults who are having harmless fun. Get over it.
