what is the difference between lets and let's ?
"Let's" = let us. We say it before doing something or to show that we want to do something:
- Let's dance!
- Let's go to the beach!
- Let's watch "One Piece"!
"Lets" = he, she, it, and singular noun form of "let" (to allow):
- Nan lets Chewie sleep on the sofa.
- Henry lets strangers ask him questions online.
- Peter lets his nephews use his PlayStation 4.
