That means result AS and A2 tak mempengaruhi result A levels? Macam tu ke?

AS and A2 itulah A-Levels. Like, there's two parts in A-Levels. Mostly A-Levels is for two years, so you'd take AS first, then using your AS results, it's going to be like your predicted grades for your actual results. A2 is the second part of A-Levels, and the results would determine your final grades for A-Levels.

Apa beza AS level dgn A2 level?

AS Level the first half of A-Level, A2 Level is the second part. Kinda like Form 4 and Form 5, where you learn more in depth and harder topics in A2.

Ok if you already said so, then I should put the A-Level INTEC as post secondary la eh in Wisconsin application form? (and Penn State's too?)

Yep

Post secondary means already graduated from high school right? What grade eh equivalent to A-Level in the US? As for now, I've been informed it is equivalent to 12th. But then 12th meant high school. I'm getting confused :/

A-Levels are like AP exams, you can transfer some credits in university. 9th grade is Form 3, so 12th grade is Form Five. But the thing is, US high school has a high school diploma, we don't. Which is why we take pre-university courses like A-Levels, ADFP, Ausmat or any other foundations before going into universities. It's either that or the foundation at certain universities like those who goes off to Vanderbilt under the ExxonMobil scholarship.

Apa beza eh coat KTJ yg color grey dengan merah?

Blazer kelabu for seniors (A-Levels), merah for juniors (Forms 1-5).
Tie merah for seniors (A-Levels, tie kelabu for juniors (Forms 1-5)

Hai, I would like to know is A-Level considered as high school or college or post secondary in US? In Malaysia, it is considered as college or post secondary school right?

Post-secondary. Some A-Levels subjects are transferable, depending on the scores and the universities themselves.

Hai kak nazu :) if dont mind, could you share with us what did you do during your 3months holiday ; i mean, when you were waiting for your spm result - spm leaver- :)

Hai :)
I don't actually have a 3-months break. Straight away after my SPM, (I think a couple of days after Biology ended), I was on a school trip to Korea for a week plus. Got back to Malaysia, had a few days of rest, off to Australia for a family trip. Then got back to Malaysia again, rested for a while, then in January it was off to Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar again for A-Levels (I did my SPM there too as well), so yeah, it wasn't much of a long break for me.

Why must Kolej Tuanku Jaafar? Asal tak Kolej Yayasan Saad? Sorry lah kak saya tanya camni... sebab saya tak tahu nak masuk sekolah yang mana satu

Why KTJ? (http://www.ktj.edu.my/admissions/why-ktj)
Tak nak masuk KYS sebab, entah, masa tu tak tahu pasal KYS pun. Dapat tahu pasal KYS pun after dah masuk KTJ. Masuk KTJ sebab dulu abang kat situ for his SPM, so mak suruh masuk gak, so masuk je la.

You mom and dad kerja apa eh

Mum's an Accountant, a Chief Financial Controller. (taktahu dah tukar title ke belum, haritu macam ada dengar nak tukar, entahla) Dad's a Gynae-oncologist, Dokor Pakar Sakit Puan. Also an Associate Professor at UM.

Kak, 1) is it difficult nak masuk Kolej Tuanku Jaafar? Ada exam ke nak masuk sana? 2) Betul ke each room ada air cond for form 4? 3) Fees for Form 4 berapa eh? 4) Pembelajaran sana ok ke tak compare to Kolej Yayasan Saad? 5) For me, Form 4, boleh bawak phone or any gadgets? 6) How to get scholarship

1) It depends. And yes, ada exam.
2) Yes.
3) Taktahu. Tak tahu pasal fees. Sila check official website. (http://www.ktj.edu.my/admissions/fees)
4) Tak tahu pasal academics in KYS. Kalau SPM-wise, pergilah KYS, KTJ nak tutup dah SPM class dia. In a few years habis dah. A-Levels in KTJ boleh tahan bagus.
5) Boleh je. Bawak la segala benda nak bawak pun.
6) Apply lah for scholarship kalau nak. (http://www.ktj.edu.my/admissions/scholarships)

Can you post photos of your university kat blog?

There's even a video of my university, go and find it out if you really want to. It's on my Youtube account, look for the 3rd vlog.

being just an ordinary student who studied in just an ordinary school in a small town, is it possible for me to get scholarships?

Yep, everything's possible.

ooooo i seee. I thought one can't change course if they don't have the basic.. Thanks for da advice ! :DD

No problemo ! :)

Is it actually possible? coz i don't have the basic like calculus and college physics.. i only learn physic during spm and PRE-calculus only during my preparation. soo you think I still have the chance to change my subject?

You can do whatever you want in the US, you can take whichever courses you want as long as you have the requirements. Kalau takde basic Calculus, you can always start taking Calculus here, no big deal.

There in oversea..can we non-science student change to science subject? like engineering for example.

If you can get approval from your sponsor, go ahead.

Is it difficult to live in us? I mean the language.i know eng quite easy but have u worry if u can't understand what the lecturer are talking about or while studying, maybe there are few words that u don't know?

Trust me, there were more than 'a few words' that I didn't understand. I mean, I find myself pretty much good at English (to say the least), 'cause I'm quite used to it and I find it comfortable to converse in English and all, but somehow it just gets to a whole new level, and suddenly you're exposed to things you've never even heard of (or perhaps they're just called differently than what you're used to). So, yeah. Things have been challenging, but I'm coping. Bit by bit, I'll get there someday, insyaAllah.

for the dossier that you submitted, did you send the documents based on the univeristy's requirements, or you just follow the list that intec had provided?

Mostly the things that INTEC provided are what the universities wanted, but I'd put in extra things :)

for the universities calendar type, what are the differences between semester, trimester and quarter? which one is the best you think?

Semester - Two semesters in an academic year, typically fifteen-eighteen weeks each.
Trimester - Three semesters in an academic year.
Quarter - Four semesters in an academic year (probably?).
I'd prefer having two semesters, so I can get an internship / travel during my breaks.
