I was looking for the right distortion pedal,I got the one finally last october, Wampler Triple wreck, rest much dint change, on the contrary I have 2 pedal boards, the smaller on stays at studio for practice sessions, and hey,pedalboards are made to be flexible and swap. think this way, how many times do you change an effect and swap in a multi fx? I just change the real versions of them! :)

Actives has an inbuilt pre amp inside which is operated by a 9 Volt battery in general, Passives Don't. .
