i have only used one processor so far, that is zoom G 2.1 nu. now if i want to upgrade, what should i choose, another good multi fx or stomp set up ? i have very general idea about stomps. if i go with stomps, what stomps i should buy? i mostly play rock & hard rock, few metals as well.

if you have the budget of course stomps. please check the relative answer I did few minutes back.

Selecting your effects/amp/cabinet unit totally depend on your playing style. In case of Eddie,he has signature series of mxr Phaser, EVH wah etc. In my case, I am bound to use several effects variations and combination, such is clean sound, clean sound with chorus, clean sound with chorus and delay, drive+ Heavy dist, drive+ delay etc. So you can see A tube amp combining all of them is a bit difficult.

It takes a lot of time to fully empty the battery.
My ones never got discharged fully.

i am not really into fast soloing techniques. i am more into slow emotional melodic soloing tecniques.but as a home learner i have to rely on youtube totally and u can find a lot of lessons about sweeps and arpeggios but there are less lessons bout melodic slow soloing tecniques .can u help me plz

At home, practice on the metronome.
And about your first studio experience, the sound engineer will guide you in detail. The basics on being in studio is you must be on tempo, record the rhythms with the drums(after drums is recorded), then solos or etc.

I was at WIlles Little flower school, Dhaka city college and Daffodil.
Practice has no boundaries still now from 1-12 hours even, depends on what I am working.

Bhai for getting a pretty good almost medium quality sound, what stomps should be bought and how much should the budget be.. Both for altrock and metal... Including solos

MXR/EHX compressor , MXR/EHX/WAMPLER distortion(dime distortion,fullbore metal,soveriegn,triple wreck),Boss ns-2 gate ,MXR chorus, EHX memory boy delay . This is an ongoing discussion while you start building and keep asking :)

For more controls try the MXR zakk wylde chorus, also analog chorus.

Stomps are a better choice so you can start on basic, and if you have a budget issue processors are there.

Boss are mostly bought in by Melody/Guitar Center. try them.

Why don't U suggest/gear review/like any Melody&Co. products? A specific guitarist-group in FB had a major discussion on it! Everyone seemed very unhappy! :/ A guy challenged that, If I ask you.... "How is Musicman Sterling JP100D??" You will reply either negatively or neutrally!! >_<

About the jp100D, even 2-3 of my students got them and I share what I know for real , compare or suggest. and about Guitar Never Lies, it is a larger view to think about which is run by abc fm 89.2 and there are producers too, In case of melody We had stock updates from them on the very starting of the program, and later on we Don't get updates from them regularly like others do, it is as simple as that. Even you would see primary reviews from their products are on our site.
