i experienced sleep paralysis once & it made me hallucinate that someone/something was picking me up like a child & cradling/rocking me while singing to me in a weird bird cooing sound. it freaked me out because i was living with my mom at the time & she couldn't lift me like that & i couldn't move or scream to try & fight off the hallucination. my heart was pounding.
