Sorry for asking such a stupid question but...If jungkook was born in 1997 isn't he 17? How'd he celebrate his 18th bday this year..?

haha yeah he is technically 17 if you go by the international age, but because in korea, they go by the lunar calendar which actually counts your birth year as 1. so basically, in korea their ages are usually one year older than the international age!
