you said that Buckeye burl ain't a tonewood, What about Burl Poplar? They look pretty nice and Skervesen has so many guitars built with it
Not a fan of burl in general since it's good at first but at least to my eyes it gets so boring pretty fast. That being said, poplar burl might be better tonally than buckeye burl but I don't like poplar as a tonewood so...in general, burl is a big desease of the wood so don't expect something resonant or stuff like that :) if I have to choose, redwood and maple burl are my favs.Regardless of how a guitar looks, I'm always for tone first
Do you have a blog?
nope, just the usual social medias because that's the most direct way to interact with people who share my passion, otherwise it would just be a niche thing
LOL the USA on the KxK fretboard
Doesn't bother me at all, it's still a glorious instrument
Buckeye burl is not a tonewood. It's very busy looking and eye-catchy but it gets boring pretty fast, at least to my eyes. It also doesn't have the good tonal properties of maple/koa/walnut/bubinga/redwood tops, it's just good for the eyes and that's it...I would never use it personally.
If you could have a signature model in 5 years, what would it be?
I have something pretty unique in mind, both design and spec-wise...who knows :)
you're gr8 :-)
Thanks m8!
what do you think of avenged sevenfold? Have you listened to their new album or is it not really your taste of music? :)
Never listened to their music at all, dunno if I'm missing out but I've heard their guitarist kicks ass
ask me a good question :D
Why should I since it's my profile? Here's your question
Ci suonerei sopratutto technical death metal e generi simili.
Grazie!
Gugla "ran crusher FT", prego :)
What makes the jcm800 so special? Please explain me :(
It's a classic, crunchy Rock lead sound that is SO good on riffs 'n leads
How do you deal with bad custom-er servicelike with BRJ?
Hell yes. Krallice, Deafheaven, Altar Of Plagues, Wolves In The Throne Room, all lovely stuff
How do you thing about GNG Guitars?
They're italian made! Very high quality from what I've seen, I just tried a couple models but wasn't too convinced, neck too flat etc. They seem to cost a lot from what I've heard but I'm sure they have very high standards. The owner also RIPS at guitar, seen him live a couple times
My 6 string dream guitar is $4k, and my 8 string GAS guitar is $2k. If I can only earn $2k next summer (I'm still in school) should I get the 8 string or save for the 6 string? I like the 6 more but the 8 is maybe more practical. Both are custom orders
I guess first be sure that your hard earned money gets spent in a custom that you actually receive in a suitable timeframe...2year waits fuck up things, trust me. Regarding 6 vs 8...totally your call dude :)
Do you like the 8 on a side headstock or the 4 by 4?
I've seen excellent headstocks with both designs. That being said I generally prefer reverse headstocks with every tuner on the same side
Hi sir! Ever played a jcm800 head? how was it? :)
Best lead amp ever!
Your band is great, I Don't know how to describe it but the music in the teaser videos sounds more dynamic and 'alive' than most death metal :)
Thanks man, glad you like! Can't wait myself to let you hear more.
That Carvin guitar builder is amazing! I loaded the guitar with a decent amount of options and it didn't even hit 2k! Thanks Francesco!
Glad I could help :) I'm using it myself a lot!
Do you work out!
Used to, actually I was obsessed with it years ago, weighing 10kg/22lb more than now and being way leaner. Then guitar became the priority and I lost everything :( actually returning to the gym next week after a long while, have to be back in shape!
