best movie you've seen this year?

i really, really liked the thieves! i also watched pacific rim recently and certainly understand the hype behind it. i've also been slowly watching the puella magi madoka magica movies in anticipation of movie 3 and reliving all my magical girl feelings T___T

woogyu as jazz club singers~

in an attempt to get back into writing prompts (i have... 54 of them... i'm so sorry T___T), here's a few paragraphs /o\ sry for the lack of gyu ahaha

Woohyun's voice is smooth and thick, floating over notes with easy grace -- perfect for the usual jazz standard, blending with the alto sax like a touch of milk being stirred into a cup of coffee. Still, it's Sunggyu with his wispy vocal strain that always gathers the biggest crowds: Woohyun is just the Friday night opening act. "It's because you're new," his friend Key insists as he tilts his martini back and forth, letting the raspberries inside roll around. "He's got, you know. Fans. Give it time, you're the better singer anyway."
Under the spotlights, Sunggyu's singing a song about hand-me-downs and broken hearts. Woohyun reaches over, yanks the drink from Key's grasp, and downs the rest of it. "I like his voice, though," Woohyun says, before turning to look back at the stage.
"You're so nice," Key sighs, though Woohyun thinks that might be more because he's under the impression that Woohyun's the one getting him free drinks when, in reality, the bartender keeps shyly sending them down.
Woohyun shrugs. "He's got something, that's all," he says slowly, just as the piano goes quiet and Sunggyu tears into the bridge of the song.
Like clockwork, the bartender serves up another martini and scampers away before either of them even look up. The song ends on a lingering minor third, and Woohyun joins in as the audience claps.

i've done the pottermore sorting hat thing a few times, it's always been either ravenclaw or slytherin. the last time i took it, though, it was ravenclaw.

Do you do any sports?

well, not anymore, but i swam & played field hockey in middle school. then i played tennis for high school.
i'm trying to pick swimming back up, actually, but my arms are so weak ahahaha

Myungsoo’s already been driving long enough to lose all sense of time and distance when he first sees another person on the road. In the distance, there’s a man off to the side holding his arm out, thumb pointed up. He’s never picked up a hitchhiker before, but he’s got a strange feeling – like maybe he’ll regret it if he doesn’t pull over – so he glances down at the gas gauge on his car thoughtfully. There’s still enough fuel in the tank to drive for hours without any problems. He slows down, stopping a few yards in front of the hitchhiker.
He rolls down the passenger-side window and calls out, “Hey. Are you looking for a ride?”
“Yeah,” the stranger replies. “Are you offering one?”
“Get in,” Myungsoo says. The hitchhiker’s face lights up, and he grins at Myungsoo as he opens the door, shoves a bag onto the floor under the dashboard, and then gets in himself. His legs, Myungsoo notices, are so long that it’s an awkward fit, but he doesn’t seem bothered at all.

hello i really love both of your exo and infinite fics!! i was wondering if you would ever write an infinitexo fic and if so, do you have a pairing and au you'd like to try? :D

i never really thought about it, but it would be fun... :3 i think if i ever did, it'd be a canon verse fic? there are, conceivably, places where infinite/exo would overlap... hmm.
if i had gotten an infinitexo pairing for my intoaclub assignment, that would have been perfect, ahaha.

names or twitter handles...? anyway, i try and talk to most of the ppl i follow every now and again, although i will say there are a few people that i talk to significantly more than others.

any version! i've only played gold/silver though and i'm kind of intimidated by all the stuff that's been added in the versions since then...

heart gold/soul silver might be a good place to start, then! nostalgia value + some new features and improvements n__n i personally think that hgss is the best pokemon vers, though, so i might be a little biased...
and most of the new additions aren't too difficult to catch onto, imo! although i will admit triple battles and rotation battles were hard for me to get used to at first /o\ at its heart, gameplay is still pretty much the same old catching + training + battling in the end, though.

have you ever played pokemon using a rom/emulator? do you have recommendations? ;A;

nope, sorry! the only video game i've ever played using a rom was fire emblem: sword of seals, and i don't remember which emulator i played it with ;;;; otoh, two emulators i know of are no$gba and desmume, no idea on roms tho. i'm sure google would turn up some recommendations for both, or perhaps even yahoo answers?
