How do you avoid getting jealous in a polygamy?
Communication is key, in polyAMORY. Polygamy (traditionally) is one husband and multiple wives, or just multiple married partners. I'm in an open relationship and identify as predominantly polyamorous (I do not want a single partner).Anyway, jealousy. Communication is important, talking about how you feel openly and not letting feelings fester. Generally, I'm just not a jealous person. I'm empathetic and apathetic a lot, so that "helps" with jealousy. I do have moments where I think about my partner's other adventures, but I tend to just ignore them. I think a lot of it is being aware of your feelings and why you feel one thing or the other.I also personally prefer keeping everyone I see separate from each other. They might know each other, but I wouldn't hang out with more than one partner at a time. It splits your attention and I don't like that.
